Like I've proven earlier by your quote the only thing I did was merely responding to you, you are victimizing yourself . No you didn't merely respond to her. Read the trail again. She was quite civil. You were being an a$$.

Being regularly denied entry into nightclubs in the past led me to believe bouncers were racist. Now, I realize that I was targeting VIP clubs which don't favor poor students, particularly not if they come solo. This fueled my opinion that qualifying if racism did actually occur or not is a difficult task. Concerning the heated debate, it is essential to keep in mind that our respective experiences can differ greatly depending on how Caucasian we look.

If I am in a room full of white people, I am always ignored INVISIBLE. If another non pure white comes in they sometimes will try to "white me". What I mean by this is they will call me 'white' and then all the pure whites will glare at me an treat me like I am some sort of racist. So then the other non white looks suspiciously at me. It drives me crazy. This is 'divide and conquer', keep them at each other throats ........ How I deal with this thing. I smile, I relax, I talk to the other nonwhite anyway. HA.

Honestly, I might not be socially-observant but some people here describe such troubling racist behaviors coming from White people I'm really starting to think I was around the right people at the right place at the right time.
That said I've felt on numerous occasions that some people were intimidated by my looks, behavior and were afraid to ask, why I peppered my speech with words borrowed from other languages so frequently, for what reason an Asian-looking guy have brown and slightly wavy hair.
I ignore why but ever since I reached adulthood no one ever dares to ask about my heritage. It looks like it has become some sort of taboo maybe it is where I live or for the people I interact with?

Ive been called nigger while riding my bike around campus a couple times, but that only slightly bothers me. What really annoys me is when your the only minority in a class and racial topics are brought up. It's like your expected to be the representation of your race, and even if I agree with something negative said about my race...I feel like I have to disagree anyway.

I'm quite a young guy and I haven't been genuinely racially abused since I was very young. Racial ignorance however has been aplenty. At best, it makes me facepalm and laugh. At worst I'll get angry. The latter almost only happens with these two close friends of mine. We all take the p*ss out of each other as most friends do and naturally my Asian-ness is a target. And I don't mind the vast majority of times. However, if they cross the line and they're not taking a hint I threaten them - just the stupid stuff you'd say to someone before a fight "mate one punch and you'd be in the f*cking ambulance, you p*ssy" Then they start thinking, realised they've overstepped and then they just shut up. This only really works because they're both middle-class cowards who don't know how to deal with real confrontation so they sh*t themselves. Don't get me wrong, they're two of the funniest people, I ever did meet. They're just culturally ignorant and sometimes forget the real offensiveness of their statements. This happens rarely anyway, like once a year. But yeah, it's not big or clever... but it does the job. Reasoning never works as it just leads to further ridicule/ignorance. What really annoys me is when your the only minority in a class and racial topics are brought up. It's like your expected to be the representation of your race, and even if I agree with something negative said about my race...I feel like I have to disagree anyway. This reminded me, the day when Obama became president we had a school assembly. There were only 2/3 black students in our year at the time and by chance I was sat by one of them. Our (white) teacher was gratuitously describing how in the past a white man could own a black man, the conditions they were kept in slave ships and other degradation etc. The guy spent almost the whole assembly with his head in his hands. I didn't really blame him.

Hello Peeps.
How do You deal with racism?
Coming from a non-asian country.
Don't fly your eurasian flag in public! Keep this to your friends and community.
Learn how to spot a racist:
1.) There is an aggressive racist. They are just raw and to the point. 2.) The tourist that wants to know about your pedigree.
Be weary of anyone that wants to celebrate your multicultarism, without first getting to know you. They are tourists. It is the celebration that is dangerous because it attracts the 'unwanted' attention too.
How to avoid racists?
Keep out of their areas. Be conscise and succinct in your communication. Let them know they are boss...if they are your boss and pay your wages. Learn to drawn the line, and smile and give back as in gifting - you don't want to leave a bad impression. Being nice and reasonable.
What if the racist is not reasonable?
Argue with them. You have to be good, so start learning and who knows you might become a good lawyer. If you point out the errors of their ways, draw the line and smile and continue, maybe derail from the embarassment, and move on.
Learn martial arts. Be good at it. Walk around in groups if you can in public. Avoid geographical areas of contention e.g. avoid racist areas. Thats why most peeps like us get involved in gangs.
AND KEEP MAKING THE MONEY! LOL!
