Craig McDermott: If they have a great personality and they're not great looking... then who f**king cares? Patrick Bateman: Well, let's just say hypotetically ok? What if they have a great personality? [pause, all laugh] Patrick Bateman: I know, I know. [all in unison] Patrick Bateman, Craig McDermott, David Van Patten: There are no girls with good personalities. David Van Patten: A good personality consists of a chick with a little hard body, who will satisfy all sexual demands without being too slutty about things, and who essentially will keep her dumb f**king mouth shut. Craig McDermott: The only girls with good personalities who are smart or maybe funny or halfway intelligent or talented, though god knows what the f**k that means, are ugly chicks. David Van Patten: Absolutely. Craig McDermott: And this is because they have to make up for how f**king unnattractive they are. Give me a f-ing break. Some guys never change. What makes you think your so great? Pathetic! (didnt mean to fly off the handle, but, Jesus, Mary and Joseph!!!)

Props for the AP reset, YF; very nice.
I think the answer to the question, though, isn't easy. Guys are fickle, and we don't really know what we want or it changes after getting it. But yeah being a hardbody personal sex toy (and sex all over the place at 2 months, I don't think this is a problem) is pretty much a pre-req whether the guy is looking for an equal partner (code for a woman who is fooled by the feminists and thinks she wants a career, lol) or a homemaker. Oh, and if it's just a gf inquiring about a bf....c'mon....just have fun and quit trying to be a grown up, damn it.

He said not to be grown up.... what is "AP reset"? Dapper does not speak for all men. Edit: you changed your post and now my comment makes no sense! I'll leave it anyway. How old are you might I ask?

My aplologies Yongfook. I am a movie lover, must have missed this movie. It's from American Psycho. It's a murder thriller, but wrapped up in this very dry, darkly humorous satire about life as a yuppie in the 80s. That quote was taken from one of many scenes where a group of board executives sit around and basically act like bigoted, well-to-do bastards living in the upper echelons of New York society, wearing Oliver People's glasses and Valentino suits, calling each other "babe" and plunking down their platinum cards to pay for lunch (which averages over $500). Larger-than-life caricatures of the kind of people you see in films like Wall Street etc. It's a great film.

^Why are you so obsessed with that movie? It was okay...the book was better.
Anyway, what do men really want...f*** if I know. I don't even know what I really want.

long, I don't speak for all men, but I was giving my opinion of what a decent generalization of many of us are. And by AP reset, I was referring to YongFook's usage of the American Psycho dialogue.
And I'll say that the book and the movie are both great. Normally I'm a wait for the movie guy who'll scoff at 'the book was better' crowd, but in this instance I have to say it's probably true. However, if you read the book before the movie, you wouldn't enjoy the book as much as you would if you see the movie before reading the book, since you have a clear sense of the characters and the satire going in, not to mention that the images of Bale as Bateman persist in your mind as you read the things he's doing that were not in the movie.
YF should definitely read the book if he enjoyed the film. Lunch With Bethany turns into the most digusting chapter of the book, but before it descends into that heinous and putrid account, it's funny as hell as Bateman's insecurity---what his hair feels like, lying about not smoking, and bashing his college mate Robert Hall, the stupid asshole--are at their best as he meets his old girlfriend for lunch. And then there are many other great scenes in the book too, that you'll picture in cinematic version.
