Your butt knows things that your mind would rather forget?

In the past month I have met a few new people that I have just clicked with, its been great. When we go out now or they are on msn we just talk like we have known each other for years. Though some others I have met it takes a bit of an effort and I would rather not spend as much time with them as I would with the others that I get along with. I have got to try the "Hi want to be my friend" line though But yea, as we get oder we have more of an idea of the type of people we want to associate with and define ourselves by.

Maybe I am cursed. I don't get shallow make up/ elle mag. Wtf man.. I feel cheated. Only these old.. serious.. critical.. my-way-or-lets-discuss-all-alternatives-adult-oriented freaks. What's going on?! They want to keep me too.

^ Seems you're hanging out with the wrong crowd. i have a lot of "guy" friends. and i know they re not interested because a lot of them have gfs anyways but i think it s easier to make friends with guys. they don t care so much about their pal s appearance I'd think chances are quite high that you're giving these boys too much credit.

^ lol Did you seriously say that with a straight face? I mean why?? WHY is my bowl round?? I don't understand why my bowl is round. Ok.. serious-face. Friend of a friend is probably the easiest, quickest and most painless way to building personal friendships. Recently, I got involved with a non-profit org and began corresponding with the ambassador. Even though it was purely business at first, we started talking and chatted about other things. Then she mentioned a contact point to meet with someone else. Ironically this other contact was a best friend of hers from the same hometown, but ended up being a good friend of mine too for the past 4 years! blah blah blah.. laughed about how it's a small world. It's funny because as you start to cultivate your own interests and circles, it's not that the friends you have will introduce you to other circles, but the circles you choose can also lead you back to people you already know. Not to mention lots of other people you wouldn't meet otherwise. Cultivate your interests. Make your contacts. You'll find that when you have a strong idea of who you are and what you want out of life, like-minded individuals or people who are worth your time! will come with it and "making friends" is like... taking a sh*t. Even babies know how to do it and it's instinctual. If you want to hole yourself up and not make the necessary effort to be genuine when you're dealing with people - at least on this level - or you have no idea about who you are or what you want or what you even like then don't waste their time. Lord knows I've wasted others' time. The whole idea that there is not enough opportunity is a total whining, cowardly cop out! Just know yourself. And it's friday night for crying out loud. Go buy a popsicle or something and share it with the cashier. Make a friend.

^ lol Did you seriously say that with a straight face? I mean why?? WHY is my bowl round?? I don't understand why my bowl is round. I say very few things with a straight face on this sight, that's the charm of it for me. But yeah, I just got tired of winking for one comment. Is that ok? I suppose the real question is: did she say it with a straight face.
