I just thought.. it's not really shallow to look for outer beauty because everyone has inner beauty. So like.. if everyone has inner beauty.. then outer beauty's what separates us!

"Oh I married this 20 y/o and her character is superb, it will decay more and more and by the time she is 50 her character will be so rotten, I will look for a younger woman." Maybe I put too much stock in what old timey standup comics have to say, but that seems to be the general consensus.

Funny, I was going to write that exact same thing at the bottom of my post.....taking the piss on myself is a hobby Of course, but I would still hold that you are more likely to find that someone with high levels of personal discipline is more likely to systematically try to keep themselves in decent shape than someone without. It's just a part of the whole package. Stepping into a gym isn't important or meaningful. Keeping in shape/exercising, eating well is. On the same token, killer body or not, I'd kick a girl to the curb if all she was interested in was watching tv everynight. There's nothing attractive about that. er, so what's the alternative here?

Allison Stokke, the pole vaulter that was posted, has a body that would be considered attractive, at minimum, by the overwhelming majority of males. The reason it seems as though it is not favoured in this thread is not because the body is considered unattractive, but rather because people are looking for perceived flaws in order to disprove that her body is 'perfect'. I agree with what Marie and CJF wrote for the most part. Generally-speaking, the female bodies that I personally like the most are those that have the hour glass figure with a fit/lean tone to it, due to the girl working out and taking care of herself. Of course this isn't necessarily what entails a 'perfect' body. In fact, perfection does not exist as what is attractive is determined by individual opinion, and since an entire population cannot share the same view on this subject, this throws out the notion of the term existing for the topic. As an excuse to post pictures of women whose bodies I consider attractive, let me provide some examples : Exhibit A Exhibit B (Overall, physically, she is who I consider to be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Yes, quite important info I divulge to EAN ) Exhibit C Exhibit D Exhibit E I love curves and I like fitness (however not to the point where muscle tone is significantly masculine). I'm not really attracted to overweight (ie obese, such as Roseanne) or underweight (ie skinny, such as Keira Knightley) bodies. I'd rather be with a girl who has a bit of meat on her, than to be with a girl who is thin because she skips meals and does not work out (similar to what Mr Zoff mentioned earlier in this thread). Ok, my admittedly very superficial post ends here

hmmm,,, per the 'exhibits' above. fake boobs help make the ideal body?? I like the David Beckham-esque body type. lean and defined but not too muscular. unless he was a professional athlete or someone who relies on his body to earn a living, i think it would be unrealistic for me to date a guy with a body like that. therefore, i like a guy who is more average - slim/cuddly. anyway, its not what you have, but how you carry it off; confidence is key!

hmmm,,, per the 'exhibits' above. fake boobs help make the ideal body?? If you can touch 'em they are real I think all the exhibits all have great bodies - large hips maybe means that they are good to have children with (thinking from a male instinctive perspective) makes them that much more appealing at some level? Though the hourglass figure has always been a 'classic' body shape.

^lol Exhibit B and C have had breast implants, the others have not. It's the only 'negative' I can pinpoint for Exhibit B, considering what I wrote about her. Then again, I do think they look absolutely fantastic despite them not actually being real. However, since no one can be perfect, I'll have to minus 0.05 and rate her a 19.95/20

Her face is brutal and she's terrible in bed (I've seen the video evidence).
Exhibit E is the only one that does anything for me, and I'd say she's overrated. I think I'd sum up A-D with: not feminine enough.
just my humble opinion..

Both.. but I understand the camera could put a lot of pressure on a shy and innocent young girl. I'm judging mostly by faces to be honest(bad form in a Body thread, sorry), but it would seem that Ms Minnillo's body is the most attractive of the bunch. I think that perhaps you prefer your faces to be somewhat masculine; which would make sense.. since you're a woman and all.

whoops. I was only commenting on the pictures A - E. The women you listed are feminine in the face, but Kim's not - she's mannish. Catherine is gorgeous of course.

No extreme morphs... no skeletons and no tubbies. Not into chunky athletic types either.

^So either ecto-meso or endo-meso morphs for you then? And being skeletal can also mean anoxeria which has nothing to do with body types and fatiness is the same (an ectomorph can get chubby has well although more difficultly).

Which is because you prioritise character over looks, but not everyone does. Most people do, though. Looks are what draws someone in, character's what makes them stick around.
