first white hairs...

i found a fwe in high school,though i haven't seen any since.there was a full asian girl who already had a considerable amount of them,as well.i have noticed it seems to be more common among asians,but one of my favorite high school teachers (who's white) told us that she'd begun to go fully gray in her twenties.

I first got white hair when I was sixteen. I still have those three strands, but I don't seem to have grown any more as of yet. I have a few blonde hairs as well (! I don't know why). I think salt and pepper hair would look pretty hot, so I'm looking forward to more.

I have found one or two strands of white hair but they're weird cause halrfway down they turn to brown and then white and then brown. So I have a striped strand of white hair :S

Oooh. I have had that before. Banded hairs. I had one that was brown, white, and black again. I wonder what causes it.

I started having white hair show up about a year ago. I am 36 years old.
My mom who is 78 started having white hairs in her late 60s. Her dad still had his black hair in his late golden years.
I wonder is it stress that I'm having it at my age?

I dont have any and its quite disturbing for me because ppl say you get white hair when you think hard and it means youre wise or something.

I got some and I got scarred. It was like a whole turning around in perspective. Growing up. Growing Old. ....but I had a few and now I am better with accepting it. This person I worked with was 19 and starting to get white hairs.

Ditto. I've been told that they appear during times of stress. However in my head, logically, that doesn't make a lot of sense because it would take several months at a time for the hairs to grow in like that... but meh. They *do* seem to appear when I have something crazy going on. It comforts me that they change back to black/brown though.

I found four or five last month. Of course I was a slavedriver and shouting orders and maintaining deadlines and than some. I've seen them on Asians in early ages like teenager years and Nordics as well...or Northern Euros. I know it's proably hereditary in N. Euros. And if an Asian is getting white hairs in the teen years it proably hereditary as well.
