I swear Mel youve become less argumentative since youve been in a relationship.
What gives.

? we've had contextual right click menus for several years. people who have no clue about the mac platform love to cling onto these tired old jabs (that they read on a "windows skinning" forum) at versions of the OS that are now almost a decade old. It's like me saying "ha ha Windows 3.1 sux!". The reality is that XP is flawed and Vista is a terrible OS. Leapord will set the new standard for consumer OSes for the entire industry. www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/No point trying to convince a bunch of kids who just use whatever their parents buy for them anyway, if we mac users have to educate anyone it's the people buying you these computers. You would all be so much more productive on macs. "Hey, I'm a mac" "Hey, I'm a PC, do you want some free pirated totally illegal games and programs you cant get on a mac software?" "No, I can't, I'm a mac"

^ actually, you can get the programs (dreamweaver, most adobe products, flash and final cut) if you know where to look. Games I'm less sure about.

^haha At my school we've mixture of PCs and Macs, but the Macs are only for the people in Drama or Media Productions, probably because it's 'simpler' to make movies on the Mac. I've absolutely NO TROUBLES of making movies on my PC. Have you seen that Apple advert? -with the two guys acting like a Mac and a PC? That commercial is SO STUPID! LIES! (You CAN view photos on a PC etc... screw spreadsheets) I think Apple computers a nice and attractive, but I'm fine with a PC; no problems. If there IS a problem, I always find a solution. For example, I got sick of the Windows XP theme, and got the Apple interface. Anyways, my desktop: I like it nice and clean.

I've absolutely NO TROUBLES of making movies on my PC. Macs are A LOT better if you're going to do visual stuff like Photoshop. And the best software for making movies are all on Macs. The only one I can think of for PCs is Adobe Premiere. Cheers Claudia! Talking about Appple computers, when we had those classic Apples circa 1999, we had that game GLIDER PRO!!! That game was AWESOME ASS! download fo' free here: www.tucows.com/preview/206047 ...there was this other game too... something with dots and lines and balls... but us year 5s weren't allowed to play the big boys' games until we turned year 6... IT WAS JUST A GAME

I work with a mac and a PC..... and the stupid thing is ..both are really important for me...mac's for the visually importance and pc for programming..it really depends on the field you are workin on. when it comes to games ok..PC is master..but I really don't play games on my desktop..I've got my console for that...I really hate installing stuff that are not of importance for me...and PC is really topmaster in that!! ...like installing drivers into your system32 ..and normally makin new folders and with that other folders too into ...and if you uninstall them...simply uninstall them...uuuhhh not so simply though....after uninstall your folder of the unwanted software still excist...ok then just delete the MF from the system...and still...sometimes it still goes wrong with the drivers... and the really annoying part is virusses and pop ups...need protection this and that...and Vista..makes your system slow...and why did MS changed so much about the office...stick with the old one. and now mac's ...no problem working with 5 hardcore programs at the same time...it doesn't delay your speed nor does it get stuck...not like windows....installin and uninstalling is really simple...just drag the folder into ur system or just delete it.....aahhh and when a program gets stuck ( nothing is perfect it still could happen)...just by pressing one time only and "force quit" the program...but with the pc it's like pressing a thousand times ctrl+alt+del...and then a thousand times pressing ok ok ..and still it won't work...so you have to kick your system into resetting it....when it comes to software ..when you want to start a program a mac will think of starting your program you are wishing for..without thinkin about your OS ..with PC first it's thinks about the OS..then it try to start the program..then it still thinks about the OS..aahh too much time...but the only thing that bothers me is its compatability with MS...like messengers ...some still doesn't work with webcams...and some not so old hardware...some companies doesn't deliver drivers for OSX..like HP...I have a scanner that hasn't got a OSX driver and it will not be made only on the OS 9 ....but anyway HP ..sux bigtime ...my third computer is an HP laptop...and i have a HP printer and an HP scanner...you think it will work fine if you connect these three together...but nope it will make a conflict with each other..but that's a different story. anyway when it comes to ilegal software ...some think it's hard to find for the mac..but really it isn't...try some torrents site or newgroups...there you will find what you are lookin for.... but like I said before...I am doin a lot of visual stuff therefore I prefer mac's but when it comes to programming PC is a must ...other then that ...it's a total headache ...anyway don't buy HP ..it sux

In fact up until recently photoshop was BETTER on a pc because it was not optimised for the mac intel processors and ran like a f***ing dog. Now with CS3 things are better. I hate blanket statements such as "macs are good for X". There is no such limitation on what macs are "good" for nowadays. Do you even own a mac?
