^ My main reason for getting a PC was price of hardware and generally lower cost and greater (at that time) diversity of software choices. A lot of my friends switched over to Macs and seem to prefer them, but this was prior to the release of XP. I don't understand the rabid loyalty and competitiveness people have for these machines since I see them as tools but perhaps I don't know enough to really say.

At the time I made the purchase I wasn't nearly as computer savvy and another concern was the availability of competent assistance for problems. The greatest number of my friends both used and worked on PCs so that definitely affected my decision.

Cristobal, that's pretty damn creepy. Please remove any pictures of mine too. I'm not surprised why a number of people resort to private messages or simply do not post what they would otherwise like to because of that or stop posting and delete their accounts altogether.

^ surprised you guys only picked up on his creepiness factor now. be aware there are others too (using phantom accounts) that aren't as forthcoming and probably less benign. wait til they start using your name to look up home addresses and tel phone numbers etc. that sh*t happens. internet is a f*cking haven for creeps, weirdos and outcasts. I know several ppl that have been aggressively stalked here.... and I think I'm the only that still bothers to post. Stupid me.

^not even the pictures, just the amount of information, legitimate or otherwise, that he's amassed probably thrills him.i'm also surprised at how people haven't noticed or have stuck up for him,but compiling members' personal information obesessively and methodically under the pretense of being a 'librarian' has apparently served him well so far, though, since no one's gotten very far in getting him to stop being such a creep. aside from photos,i'd also be curious to know how he's got info on invisible users.i know it's not terribly hard to piece together on one's own,but i would seriously hope that nothing's been leaked from anyone who's in a position to know for certain.

wow, You guys really thought that was my desktop? (NO that is NOT my desktop). All I did was rename all the folders so that they looked EAN-related, then I posted it as a joke. (Yes it was a terrible joke). No really, you all thought that was real?? You don't really think EVERYTHING on my computer is about EAN? That was probably my worst post ever. I took the picture down. Again, that WASN'T REAL. I call bullsh*t
