Your cat is cute Freecia, it's like this big, fluffy, round mound of fur with a small, squishy face.

Why do you like this pet better? Cats Have you had a pet like this? Yes since I was 7-8 years old Have you had both cats and dogs before? Yes Pros and cons of having? I like many types of animals like lizards as well, I used to have Igunas but I have always been more of a cat person. I have had dogs when I was really young and when I was a teen but have had cats always since I was 7. I think my personality just goes better with the feline species. I have had mean cats and the most nicest and I love'em all. I get annoyed a lot easier with dogs because I can't tolerate the constant need for attention and approval and I feel bad leaving a dog at home all day when I'm at work but my cat will just sleep the day away and not miss me til I get home. Any bad experiences with either? My first puppy I got when I was 5 got hit by a truck right in front of me:( I had her on a leash but she kept pulling so hard and was so strong I couldn't hold on to her anymore. She was a pointer named She-ra, I have had Basset hound that passed of old age 2 years ago and a Lab that my dad has now, I didn't want to relocate her with me becasue she is so old now and has a much bigger yard and swimming pool to play in at my dads . They were great dogs Cats wise my childhood cat had to be put down he was 18 years old, that was the hardest thing I had to do Right now I have a persian cat and he is a total Diva although he is male. All my cats have been persian I don't mind the maintance and I like how stuck up they can be, haha. Here is a current pic of my Diva

^ My cat is also a Persian. They are fluffy and cute but YES, aren't they total divas ><!! That's why I call myself my cat's most humble servant. She must think she's a queen!!
@ [R]: Thanks for the compliment. ^^ I love her to death, and she's a little bit overweight just to my liking. Just a little overweight...just a little bit....

^ That was brilliant! Goodbye, Mr Tigs :waves:
I'm totally a dog person, not least of all because I'm allergic to cats. Not in a 'oh-noes-my-throat-is-closing-up-and-I-can't-breathe' way, but in a 'look-extra-attractive-by-sneezing-constantly-and-having-an-extremely-runny-nose' way.

She was allergic to dogs? And your family still got one? hahahaha, I love it.
Although, sometimes, with extended exposure, you can build up a tolerance to something you were previously allergic to...not that this would be a good idea to people with severe food allergies... 'Here, have some peanuts...' eek.

^^ lol I had a friend in High school with those food allergies. The school office had to have a med kit just for him, if he did consume a peanut he'd have to get an injection ASAP. I really felt sorry for him, his list of food not to eat was huge..... and ya....I don't know why my parents still got a dog with my sis being the way she was.... ;D I think I may have had a hand in that . I did pick a dog that doesn't shed and was supposedly a good dog for people with mild pet allergies (actually I didn't go out of my way to do that it just worked out that way ;D ).

^I've always felt bad for people with severe food allergies who always have to be extra vigilant. No random 5am drunken snacking, etc.
It just worked out that way, huh? I bet you tell her it was on purpose! hee.
Man, I miss having pets. Still, I go visit my Gran twice a week, and get to play with her dogs - one is a 5 month old King Charles Cavalier puppy. So cute!
(damnit, no pics! Will have to take some next time I go)

^ lol ya I tell her it was done on purpose b/c I'm such a loving, kind, generous, affectionate, understanding, thoughtful, and handsome brother. Of course by the time I get to generous she's not standing around anymore.

Cats
Independant, clean, unpredictable, they dont stink! they're quiet! They can be trained to use the washroom and attack. Siamese tend to be pretty good at this, theyre usually quite loopy as a breed and that in itself makes life around the house a bit more interesting.
