^ We definitely have Terry's brand of chocolate here, Dawn French used to advertise it, but I haven't yet seen one that resembles an orange. Admittedly I haven't been looking for them. I will in the future though.

Those look and sound a bit sensational. We don't get them over here. We don't even get orange flavoured Kit Kats anymore, at least at my supermarket. Bummer. I'm pretty sure the states don't get any kind of flavored kitkats (beyond the standard milk chocolate and white chocolate). Surprising. Or maybe I just haven't spent enough time in the candy aisle recently. I think most American candy tends to stay pretty conventional and boring. No odd fish-flavored kitkats make it over here. Sadly. Probably the most exotic candy over here are those Harry Potter imitation Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Which, incidentally, I've been rather curious about. Do they *really* make those jelly beans taste like sardines and dirt? My curiosity has yet to get the better of me. Plus I'm not a big fan of jelly beans to begin with.

they really do make them taste like the things they're intended to (though i can't vouch fo vomit, booger,or earwax flavored ones as i've had neither the jelly beans nor their real life counterparts.well,i guess everyone's had the flu,but you know what i mean. )i got a box with someone once and we decided to be adventurous-spinach,black pepper, dirt, grass and the like are really accurate.we weren't brave enough to eat the whole bean, though,we just nibbled on a corner.no one wants a mouthful of dirt.

grass - actually good! dirt - very accurate vomit - accurate in my opinion... kind of acrid-tasting pepper - not bad earwax - not good, but i'm not sure if it's accurate or not. booger - kinda salty i would LOVE to be on the R&D team for Jelly Belly.

Ok, I gotta ask Jeremy.
For what reason and when was the last time you actually ate real dirt to be able to compare?

props to you,i couldn't bring myself to go near the vomit and booger ones.the grass one wasn't bad but would have been more pleasant to me if it wasn't so intense.and it would be a pretty cool job, doing R&D for Jelly Belly.

For what reason and when was the last time you actually ate real dirt to be able to compare? Like you've never dropped something at a barbeque and still eaten it. actually i think i was largely going off the general smell of soil. 'cause when you're working in the yard, or gardening/digging for whatever reason, you REALLY get a feel for the smell of dirt. And the jelly beans gave me that sensation.

Since we are in the chocolate thread. I love "Dirt cups." Smash up oreos, and layer them with chocolate pudding, then top it off with gummi worms.
Delightful!!!!!

I haven't had the Harry Potter beans, but I have had Jelly Bellys, and the most exotic flavour was popcorn, which tasted surprisingly, and pleasantly, like popcorn. All the other flavours mentioned would be a wee bit too strong for my tastes.

That looks like a gift box for jewelry rather than choc. Anyways, it looks delicious!
