I'll have a double espresso with that, please, and an extra serving of Hershey's would go very nicely too, merci.

a grieving artist i appreciate and not the whining one. to judge which one was Frida Kahlo though is not up to me. Sure you can! Just by drawing from elements that you see. Whatever you see will be filtered through your eyes, but it doesn't make it in-valid. I often find myself more fascinated with the line of thought of the audience rather than the actual piece.. I'll have a double espresso with that, please, and an extra serving of Hershey's would go very nicely too, merci. Cheeky bugger. Artyfarty knows no Parody!

I was digging in some old pictures and found something interesting from the LACMA this summer. Someone said they liked graffiti. This is just a representation of graffiti so maybe not as COOL. But I thought it was anyway.

Hola Manileña, The "Art pictures thread" featured is excellent. All your featured personalities have been tremendously interesting. When I was living there at an early age, there was an ice cream parlor called Milkyway ice cream. I believe it still exist and the pioneer owner/operator was Dña Maria Cartagena, qepd, it would be nice to hear from the family. recuerdos, Oloferniz

Manileña can you give a couple of books/coffee table books about Philippine art? Especially those with Fil-Hispanic theme. I don't really have an idea of what type but I would just like to immerse/learn myself in Philippine art.
Gracias de antemano,
Ánimo
