I don't know where to put this (is there an Asian Food thread?). But I'm really craving Kaya on bread right now. Oh god what I'd do for some Kaya and bread and milo. That seductive puke green jar.... ok....u're really sounding like my sis right now....

Yes! Yes, it's the coconutish spread though I think there're eggs in it too. Supposedly you can make your own. Maybe I will try this hols.
Khogan, I assure you we are not related.

Has the Filipino Ea contigent mentioned Flan yet? I know Spanish, Latin America countries, Vietnamese and I think French have it too. But I love the FIlipino mushy version. Oh and ube cake. I love ube cake. The little milk candies, polvoron.I also had this Filipino ice cream with corn in it. Sounds weird but actually quite tasty. Does champorrado with fish flakes on top count? Or is that simply considered breakfast?

Well well! I was just riding around town with my dear cousin! (She's an EA too!) And we went to a Vietnamese restaurant to eat Pho... So after the meal I go to order my usual Che Ba Mau (tree colored beans) But she ordered Fried Banana! WOW GOOD THING SHE DID! I never had fried banana since 4 years! So I had a piece and GOD IT"S JUST SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!

Ahhh fried bananas - after this 4 hour trek through the jungle in Melaka, my friend and I stumbled onto this beach where there was a stall selling fried bananas.. I have never known such BLISS. If ever your energy levels are down, fried bananas are red bull you can eat
