Oh really? They're meant for a mobile - that's cute. Thanks too. LOVE the new walnut mouse and the attention to detail.

I thought the base of the mouse figure was neat. Kinda pock-marked.

I thought the base of the mouse figure was neat. Kinda pock-marked. I liked the pockmarked because it reminded me of the unevenness of coral. It's like she's dancing slow-mo in a grotto underwater. Oooh a water rat. (chinese zodiac) Or an octopus like Siva, who dances on turtles.

Amazing Marie, the craftsmanship alone is incredible, but the mouse spins? Très éloquent, mademoiselle. Is it a music box of sorts? What song does it play?
Quite inspiring, this entire thread really. It's been years since I've used craftiness for anything but evil.

@ Hapwalnutcrackeronthepeanutcase ( I think I got it all right this time): Those mouseys are adoreable! I'm guessing they were also labour intensive being as tiny as they are. The nutcracker one is my favourite.

If my stupid camera was working, I could post a photo of the t-shirt my boyfriend made me. Sucks. I'll wait till it starts working/gets fixed or I shall have to resort to taking a crap picture with my phone.

it s wooooooooooooooooorking ! the mouse can spin !!!!! let the music begin ! You should seriously try to start some little part time/hobby business out of this. You can sell these on Ebay easily looking at the quality.

If I chose to become an artist, I probably would've chosen sculpting. There's something very alluring to me about using a mallet and chisels to carve figures out of stones. But, it could just be the fun of banging the crap out of something hard with tools...., oh, wait, that's carpentry, tho.

Truly adorable, Isa. And even more beautiful since it was from the heart. Seems to me like he's the fish and you're the hibiscus he's thinking of.

^ I knew that was the name of the flower! It's funny how my boyfriend chose to paint a flower that used to grow outside the house I lived in for 10 years whilst growing up as a kid! Oh Cel, I didn't even notice that until you said it ....... so bllluuurrrr .......
