That was a thoughtful and sincere post with a welcome degree of humility. I think you deserve a response from me, though I don't have the energy to give it the thought it deserves atm and it's probably best that I PM it to you anyway.
In the end, I think the most important thing to me is that you have good taste in beer; it was delicious. Cheers.

As an aside, I like how "How to Develop a six pack" came full circle by mentioning beer.

Thank you for confirming my assertion that the whole process to develop that 6 pack wasn't worth it.

The way the info is laid out, that workout looks really daunting. If you think about it though, it's not that terrible or time consuming.

I had an 8 pack when I was 14-18. Yes, 8 pack, it is possible. I worked out obsessively until my head was hurt so much I was going to pass out... No diet changes?

I thought a six pack was something you buy.

You already have them....we all do. You just have to melt the fat away. Many wrongly think they can target the area to develop those muscles. Really all you need to do is take 6 or 7 minutes of an ab routine at the end of your work out 3-to-5 days a week. You cannot target weight loss in certain areas by any routine or exercise. Diet has something to do with it, especially if you're a girl, but mainly it's guys who want 6 packs and so we have good news b/c if you crush it in the gym, and are generally active, you can eat pretty much whatever you want since it comes down to the mathematics of calories in and out for us.
I don't usually walk around with a 6 pack or washboard abs, but I always have definition there. The times when I look in the mirror and decide I need to work my abs, all it does is take me a couple weeks of crunches in the manner i mentioned above, and I'm ripped. But I lift weights 4-6 days a week, and I run 3-4 times a week, typically 4-5 miles at a time. And I play tennis and basketball semi-regularly and regularly. Anyway, if you don't run, by God start running. That works to melt off your body fat more than anything else, and you actually work your abs and lower back by the nature of running too. And if you want strong, fit abs, you must work your lower back too.
I'd also recommend that you eat more meals a day, but smaller portions. This way you burn what you eat, not storing it for later (fat), and it also helps your metabolic rate stay relatively higher than it could if you just load up 3 times a day. Try for 6 meals a day. And get plenty of sleep. Statistics show that people who get less sleep tend to be more obese than those who get more, which leads of course to diabetic risk and increased stress, blah blah blah and greater heart attack risks.
