Do you have a moral code of ethics? Is it cultural, religious or individual? Share here

Well can you post it? lol
My code is more like a governing law for myself.

Hacer el bien sin mirar a quien (Do good without looking to who)
but sometimes... hacer el mal sin mirar a cual (Do wrong without looking to which)
Ok, seriously... just try to be happy and do what you want without harming others, that's all... of course it's impossible to follow 100%.

No no no, it's just in conflict with my own individual code of ethics. I am mono-cultural yes but deeper inside I follow no one not even my own people. My main beliefs stem from personal experiences.
The "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you" kinda led me into quite a few traumas in my childhood prior to the age of 12. Guess I was raised in a more hostile environment where these pointers remained facts:
- "Let those who wish for peace prepare for war" - "If they can get away with it, they'll do it" - "Don't allow any room for your friends to betray you" - "When you are betrayed it is also your own fault because you allowed it to happen" Etc
Hence I do have the living in harmony part, but I employ some psychological elements into my personal relationships. I try to make things more beneficial for loyal friends and less beneficial if they wish to be dogs. If I fail, I tend to blame myself.
I also seperate humanity into categories in which I judge according to proven action rather then title or looks - another one of my own morals. For some 'humans', only harmony I can see possible is making sure they don't even exist in my life. Or, if I wish it, I even make sure a certain element of "Justice" is employed.
To be honest I don't see any difference between vengeance or justice itself. Only one is law-abiding, but the morality between the two is essentially the same.

an example of my morals... guy speeds past me in his car while I'm driving the limit... he skids, plows into a tree, I drive on. didn't happen but I would probably handle it that way.

Why not post a few of your morals? For example, I wrote myself a code when I was 16, it had 10 rules, though it kinda evolved slightly into this: - Never enter into pessisism or negativity - Never live life without a purpose - Never wait for miracles - Build strength through hardship - Truthful tongue is a powerful tongue - Never show weakness to your enemies - Never let weakness overcome your mentality - Judge with wisdom never with ignorance - Question everything to avoid naivete Those are just individual morals, how about yours?

I've my own moral code, which reflects my physical appearance and my mental, emotional, and spiritual traits. I don't mind to tell you it, but you can try to guess it watching me... Is that chinese taoism?

Hmm I fail to see a resemblance, then again I don't know much about Taoism except that it does preaches about peace, and non-action, where as I believe that peace is earned through actions. Rather passive philosophy in my opinion.

All you need is a sense of right & wrong everything else is just trying to impose its puny wills on the cosmos - no offense intended, take as you will. Your puny wills JK, ahhh I've had my fun

Is it? Heh sorry I thought Taoism was about peace and non-action no? Then again I don't know much about fixed moral systems much, always had my own which worked for me though they tend to evolve from time to time

Nice, it's very poetic. Very simple morality too, I like that "Ye harm none, do what ye will". I enjoy reading about "pagan" religions to be honest. I mostly accept the title of Tengriist though not out of actual belief but because I've taken its side against rather ignorant discrimination. I'm just a rebellious soul The poetic morality of Wiccan makes it rather difficult sometimes for me to understand however.
