^ wat are u using to make tunes anyway? im kinda intersted.. i spend quite a bit of time dj-ing and mixing tracks myself I use cubase. However cubase doesn't really create sounds you'll need VST's to do so... To create all the sounds I use Reason 3 and absynth 3 mainly, dabbled with FM7, v-station, reaktor 4, vanguard and some other ones... as the drum machine I use Battery 2 and just have a large sound bank I got off my mate... You should give it a go.. its quite fun, just wish I had more time to actually complete the tunes... @bayboy - to post music you have to upload it somewhere else and then link to it... this site doesn't allow you to upload directly...

haha, nah I wish - just do it as a hobby (along with mixing)... if you want somewhere to start just get Reason (I did) - its a good program to learn on as it can pretty much do everything in regards to picking up the basics.

ok, since no one is sharing their music, looks like i'm gonna have to force the issue ;D these are 2 relatively simple pieces for the piano that I know others here can play: 1. Mozart's Sonata No 15 (Children's piece)www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5zyRd8G5p4^ Anyone, everyone has played this at one time or another! 2. Chopin's Fantasie Impromptuwww.youtube.com/watch?v=92VWICTC1bI^I know for a fact that jaded_lady, nikki and koji have played this in concert. NB: I've only recorded the first few seconds of the piece. I am BEGGING for another EAN'er to post the next bit.... in the hope we can cobble together our recordings and finish the piece! And remember it's not about it playing it well. I have not-so-purposely riddled my own recordings with errors so pls remember, its' just about doing your thang..... post it no matter how crappy you think it is!!!

Cool site, never seen soundclick before.
I like the beats, too. Doesn't sound like it would have to be RnB, though... seems like it would fit well with a number of different kinds of music... ambient, trip-hop(maybe), maybe even world music ;D
But big respect for making it.

NICE. Sounds like the vibe of an r&b track where the artist is in a relaxed frame of mind, reminiscing about the past or telling a story about a past occurrence (eg an ex, life growing up etc). It seems to have a slight sexual undertone to the melody as well. The first R&B artist I thought of whose style would match the track was Aaliyah. Others I can imagine vocalising over it include TLC, Janet Jackson, Brandy, and even Nas as a rapper could do a guest appearance on such an r&b track. I like how you included a type of breakdown of the beat about 3/4 or 2/3 of the way through, allowing for the listener to focus on the vocals (such as a falsetto), or even to think about the last lyric the artist just sung. This occurs in many tracks nowadays, and is a good technique for achieving such a task. Overall, good job, I enjoyed listening. Just needs the right singer with the right lyrics and mood to do the beat justice.

This thread is in pain. Someone, please post something..... you playing, humming, singing, dancing.... it's all good.
I will record something in the next few weeks ..... still wrestling with a few bars [of music] and some rusty fingers.
