"I've got cousins galore. Mexicans just spread all their seeds. And the women just pop them out."
She's an idiot. She has legions of Hispanic fans, and she's now just isolated them.
Of course everybody welcomes her nowadays. She's hot as hell. If she were a fat girl, she'd just be another "pincha puta" on the street.

Isn't it a good thing for you guys if Mexicans spread all their seeds.....Jessica, Lynda Carter, Salma Hayek, Catherine Bach, Alexis Bledel, Paulina Rubio, Thalia, Lucero, Eva Longoria, Barbara Mori, Elsa Benitez, Bibi Gaytan, Ana Alicia, Laura Harring, Yvette Mimieux, Appolonia, Selena, Dolores Del Rio, Lupe Velez. Who else? What do we women have? Ricardo Montalban, Erik Estrada, Mario Lopez, Anthony Quinn, Alejandro Fernandez, Mark Consuelos, Curlytop - u sure know your obscure celebs. kudos! but how could you forget about Vanessa Marcil?! And Victoria Abril ?! and RITA HAYWORTH?! ?! ?! I dont give a rats ass about Jessica Alba but Laura Harring (who you mentioned) is to die for. I can't tell you how many times I watched that sh*tty movie "Lambada - The Forbidden Dance" b/c it had her in it. Check out the movie if you havent' already. She's ridiculously gorgeous in it. oooh, and Victoria Abril in Tie Me Up Tie Me Down (Pedro Aldomovar) was awesome too. My God...... that bathroom scene. *shivers*

I think she's right to say she doesn't feel mexican 'cause she simply is not. But she said some harsh things about mexican people, I guess she's just tactless and perhaps stupid... 'cause she should know that as a "public figure" everything that comes out of her mouth will be judged. And I also see this as a more cultural issue than a ethnic one, 'cause "mexican" is not a race and "hispanic" is just a label used in the US to describe people from some places in Latin America. But you can find a lot of european looking people and a lot of amerindian and a lot of everything, in my city most people have arab or semitic faces... and many mexicans can pass for eurasians, or most of the people here... in mexico would pass unnoticed as long as they don't talk We don't have the same ghetto mentality than in the US.

I think he's sorta hapa. His mom is Pinay. If you want to count the Spaniard blood from being Mexican (his daddy), then he can sorta be Eurasian, with a mix of some tribal Mexican Indian blood mixed in.

Salma Hayek should have a five minute slapping spree on Jessica Alba, while Gael Garcia Bernal holds Alba's arms behind her back, with Paris Hilton in the background singing "Ooops, I did it again".

The american indians are originally from Asia, with a few european roots. www.thetech.org/genetics/ask.php?id=41

juancarlos - haha wtf. Flat Top - Erik Strada & Mark Consuelos arent mexican - "My grandfather was the only Mexican at his college, the only Hispanic person at work and the only one at the all-white country club. He tried to forget his Mexican roots, because he never wanted his kids to be made to feel different in America. He and my grandmother didn't speak Spanish to their children. Now, as a third-generation American, I feel as if I have finally cut loose."-- I dont like labels either and im not saying she has to totally embrace her latin side but when you say stuff like that its an indication to me that you're ashamed of it and so is her family. Her mother is white? How many white people in the U.S know their european background anyway let alone speak their language? When I hear her say shes "American not latina" I really hear her say 'Im not latina or half latina im white" thats just my opinion i guess. And again,I never really saw her as latina in the first place, I just felt she needed to be put on blast for what she said.

question, what or who do you consider latino ? ok south americans but how about european spanish & portuguese ? the word latino has obvisouly been derailed from its original meaning & form because if we talk about latin, there's more to it than just mexicans, colombians, puerto ricans... but also french, spanish & yes of course italian. (without mentioning linked language roots)

Good for her. But there's nothing unique about her opinion. This is what usually happens after a generation or two of immigrants have been here. They assimilate to the American culture. I mean, my family cut that German sh*t out a long ass time ago, lol. I don't feel the need to shower my stomach with sauerkraut, leg up some lederhosen, and go play soccer. I also don't feel the desire to ever slide on a kilt and go throw logs down a field, scream and be angry and complain about the English either.
