I saw an EA in the mirror this morning. Was that the first time you saw that particular EA? Or is he stalking you?

met a filipino/american girl today. i had seen her around last semester and could tell she was EA but never got to talk to her. since she happens to be good friends with one of my friends, we had a chat before class today. really nice girl. she grew up in the US and is definitely american in her way of doing things/talking but not "white washed" at all. our friend in common happens to be asian.

Something cool/funny - a story which my mother told be recently: She was out in the town, and a policeofficer has been staring at her all the time. My mother was confused for having done anything bad or naughty And he was staring in a friendly way. Then the policeofficer has asked her if she is Japanese He was just curious: he told her that his grandmother is Japanese. My mother told me that she've never figured that out, according to her he looked 100% German ^^

I once saw this like, flawless Eurasian girl at my best friends 18th, I swear she was like jaw-dropping cute, but was kinda shy. So anyway, after many drinks I went up to her while my best friend was chatting her up, got him out of the way (he was spitting on her he was so drunk and I could see she was nicely trying to avoid it ) and we just, clicked. I found out so much about her and she was SO nice! At the end of the night, when we all left, I realised... I forgot to get her DAMN NUMBER!... Oh well, I'm sure I'll see her soon anyway, I could always ask my friend. (THIS IS TRUE!)

He may have been trying to connect with someone with whom he shares an ethnic background. Or did she contribute to the rejection that many EAs may feel from those that they share an ethnic background with?

She did accept him for his heritage for sure - my mother is very open minded and is very untypicall Japanese (but crazy in another way) - the rejection for the first moment is due that is was a police officer, and many German are fussy in certain things, for instance if your dog pee on the wrong spot so, my moms around with her dog

When i was in Singapore. I made eye contact with the cute eurasian guy. We had eye contact from about 25m away all the way until we were about to pass each other I looked straight, but I looked back because i could tell he was looking, we pretty much had to turn our heads fully to keep eye contact I was the first to break because i bursted out laughing. Poor kid (I say kid because he was still in school uniform boo) But I don't mind, I guess most of us know had that stage where it was like -SOMEONE-THAT-FINALLY-LOOKS-LIKE-ME stage.

I think the weirdest EA encounter I ever had was when I was at the 24 hour supermarket (grocery) store.
It was really late at night, like 2am, I was tired and picking up some stuff and when I looked up I was staring at myself.
The guy serving me was a spitting image of myself (minus maybe a minor age difference and slightly different haircuts).
We just both looked at each other without saying anything. Kind of dumbfounded - like peering into a mirror but ur reflection doesn't mimic your movements. Totally freakin wierd.
Needless to say, I didn't feel very unique for the rest of the night.
If I was cooler, I would have said to the guy, "It's future Tyson. Don't drink the coffee. It's poisoned!"

^ That's mad! Eurasians (in general) do look similar in a way don't you think? Is there a reason for this?
@ Fiona: Haha I get that a LOT too with Eurasian guys and girls, it's as if we are trying to find out if we are Eurasian or not get what I mean?
