Vote: yes! But as a side-dish only. I couldn't make a meal of the stuff...
it's the fermented fishy type things I don't like when it comes to Korean food!

Asking me that question is like asking an elephant if it likes peanuts. ;D It was never meant to be eaten as a main course or by itself.

love the stuff--this local korean restaurant calls me the kimchi lady...I take it as a term of endearment

I like most foods and can eat pretty much anything and love spicy stuff... but kimchi.. not by choice. It stinks and reminds me of rotting garbage.

I like kimchi. I can eat it with just rice. I've even eaten it with cheese and sliced cold cuts. It's one of the best things! Kimchi...mmmmmmmmmmm! Like it! Like it alot!

You usually get a whole range of little side dishes besides Kimchi at Korean restuarants right? I prefer the vinegar (is it?) soaked cucumber better than kimchi.

When she was pregnant with me, my mother lived on a diet predominantly made up of Korean food (I was conceived in Korea as well). She tells me she gobbled down truckloads of kimchi during that time, so yeah I'm sorta made up of the stuff. My dad likes to refer to it as spicy rotten cabbage...
But to answer the question, I f***in love the stuff.

kimchi is okay. I'm neither for or against. What I really, really love is this kind of wet bean sprout dish. I could literally eat it 'til I explode.
